Tiffini Fischer, Jazz Faculty
Tiffini Fischer began her training at Pat Cummings School of Dance in Port Alberni B.C. at the age of five. She has training in Ballet (R.A.D & Cecchetti), Tap (C.D.T.A), Jazz (C.D.T.A), Modern and Rhythmic Gymnastics. She was a member of Vancouver Island Youth Dance Theatre, for four seasons. The youth company took her twice to Los Angeles, in which she got the opportunity to work with many companies, choreographers. Peformance oppurtunities include Disneyland, universities, high schools and elementary schools. These opportunities have given her a chance to perform for many audiences in many different venues.
Also as a Rhythmic Gymnast, Tiffini trained at the national stream level, competing across Canada. She finished fourth in the Province at the British Columbia Provincial Championships in 1998. After the moving of her coach in 1998 she decided it was time to turn to her true passion dance. Tiffini has been dancing ever since. Competing in many different competitions and festivals across B.C.
Tiffini has been teaching since the age of sixteen at Pat Cummings School of Dance. She attended the Royal Winnipeg Ballet's Teacher Training Course for three years. She moved to Edmonton last August to continue her teacher training. Tiffini is very compassionate and dedicated to her teaching, and wants to make the joy and love of dance known to all.
