Uniform

All students should now have purchased their uniform. All dancers require the correct bodysuit for jazz and modern (no black bodysuits allowed) and black tights. Hair must be in a bun for all ballet classes.

To parents of students in the senior school, if you are purchasing pointe shoes for your daughter please book an appointment with the store ahead of time. Most retailers will only fit pointe shoes during an appointment. Before adding ribbons, all shoes must be checked by the ballet teacher.

Christmas Tea ...

We are very excited to announce the first performance of the season will be A Child's Nutcracker. Production is already underway in both the costume and set departments. Over the next month, notes about ticket sales and other information will be coming home. Remember, this year's Christmas Performance is a matinee!

Once again, we will require volunteers for backstage with the Junior and Middle School and parent volunteers for the Christmas Tea during intermission. The Parent Committee will be contacting parents in each class.

Over the course of the next month I will be begin my maternity leave. Throughout the next few weeks I will alternate my weeks with the teachers who will continue the classes during my leave. It will be difficult for me as I have never taken any leave of absence from my teachingŠbut the ole' grey mare ain't what she used to be!
